Fried Buffalo Wings

  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter , melted, for the marinade
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 3/4 cups buffalo sauce, spicy
  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon salt , celery
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon raw sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Maggi seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon guajillo chile, powder. (dissolved with a little of the mixture of the previous ingredients.)
  • 1 tablespoon buffalo sauce, traditional
  • 1 teaspoon achiote
  • 3 lemons, just the juice
  • salt
  • 1 kilo chicken wings, cut in half
  • oil , for frying

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the ingredients one by one except for the salt, lemons, and wings. Cook for 5 min. Let cool.
  • In a bowl, place the clean wings, add salt and the juice of the lemons. Add the mixture and mix well.
  • Let rest for half an hour in the refrigerator.
  • Heat enough oil in a saucepan and add the marinated wings. Cook for 20 to 25 min depending on how golden you want them. Drain and place on a platter.
