  • 1 cup FAGE® Greek Yogurt, for the marinade
  • 1 lemon, just the juice, for the marinade
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, for the marinade
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped, for the marinade
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, for the marinade
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, for the marinade
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, for the marinade
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, for the marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for the marinade
  • 2 chicken breasts, into fajitas
  • salt
  • pepper
  • tomato, into small cubes
  • cucumber, into small cubes
  • red onion, into thin strips
  • pita bread, for serving
  • sweet potato potatoes, for serving
Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine Fage® Greek Yogurt, yellow lemon juice, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, fresh oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts to the mixture and let marinate for 1 hour.
  • Cook the chicken on a grill over medium heat for 10 minutes on each side. Reserve.
  • Assemble the gyro with pita bread, add a bit of dressing, the chicken, cucumber, tomato, and red onion. Serve with sweet potato fries.
