  • Heat a skillet, add the butter and sauté the garlic and tomato for a few minutes, then add the mustard, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning juice, ketchup, apple juice, and chipotle pepper, then season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it boil for about 5 minutes until the BBQ sauce liquid reduces and the consistency is semi-thick. Remove from heat.
  • Blend the sauce and strain if necessary. Set aside.
  • Sprinkle the chicken with enough salt, pepper, paprika, and cornstarch. Mix well with your hands and press the pieces a little so that the seasonings soak in well.
  • Heat a skillet with oil and sear the chicken pieces perfectly on all sides. Then, pour a little of the BBQ sauce you prepared earlier and continue cooking, but do not pour it all, set aside some to continue glazing if necessary and for the final touch on the BBQ chicken.
  • Once the pieces are fully cooked, remove from heat.
  • Serve the BBQ chicken with a little more sauce and accompany with crudités and your dressing of choice.
