Chicken in a Jiffy

  • 2 kilos chicken drumstick, and clean thighs
  • 1 kilo new potatoes
  • 1 kilo green onion
  • 2 Poblano chiles, clean and sliced
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 2 tablespoons granulated chicken bouillon
  • 100 grams Manchego cheese, gouda or your preferred cheese to melt

  • Wash the chicken pieces, as well as the potatoes with skin, and remove the tails from the onions and wash them.
  • The peppers are charred, placed in a bag to sweat, cleaned, and sliced. Everything is now very clean.
  • Preheat the oven to about 220°C
  • Grease the baking dish with butter, add the chicken, potatoes, onions, and peppers.
  • In a small pot, melt the butter and dissolve the 3 teaspoons of Knorr, then pour it over the chicken.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Place it in the oven for 60 minutes, check the cooking at 30 minutes, cut the remaining butter and place it inside the baking dish, close it, and wait for the next 30 minutes.
  • After the cooking time, uncover the baking dish, sprinkle the cheese, and let it bake for 5 minutes until the cheese is golden and melted, and it’s ready!
