Chicken Legs in Yogurt Cilantro Sauce and New Potatoes

  • 2 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 cup yogurt, natural
  • 15 new potatoes
  • 2 cups cow's milk
  • 1/4 onions
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 100 grams butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 bunches fresh cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper

  • Preheat the skillet and add a little butter and a bit of olive oil.
  • Cut the lower part of the chicken leg bone and set aside.
  • Cook the new potatoes in cold water for about 15 minutes.
  • For the sauce, add yogurt, milk, onion, garlic, cilantro, pepper, salt, cornstarch, and blend.
  • Fry the chicken legs, season with salt and pepper, and add the previous mixture, stir, cover, and let cook for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the potatoes from the water once they are cooked, cut them into quarters, and add them to the mixture.
  • Mix, cover, and finish cooking.
