  • 3 morita chiles, rehydrated
  • 1 ancho chile, rehydrated
  • 1/4 onions, roasted
  • 4 cloves garlic, roasted
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 allspice berries
  • 3 cloves
  • 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • salt
  • 5 chicken drumsticks
  • 5 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup water
  • banana leaf, to present

  • Blend the guajillo chili, morita chili, ancho chili, onion, garlic, chicken broth, allspice, black pepper, clove, cumin, oregano, and salt in the Royal Prestige® Power Blender for 3 minutes.
  • Add the chicken pieces to a bowl, coat them with the previously blended sauce, and marinate in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  • Place a 4-quart Royal Prestige® Novel pot on the Royal Prestige® Precision Cook, pour in the water, and add the chicken pieces. Then, cover the pot, secure it, and turn the regulator valve with the arrow pointing towards the pressure icon. Cook the chicken barbecue over medium-high heat for 30 minutes.
  • Serve the chicken barbecue on a plate, decorate with a banana leaf, and accompany with corn tortillas and drunken sauce.
