Chicken in Chorizo and Chipotle Sauce

Delicious and exquisite recipe for chicken in chorizo and chipotle sauce, you can make it on the day you want to surprise your family with something different but tasty.

  • 1 cube Knorr® tomato bouillon
  • 1/2 chorizos, with little fat, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chipotle chile in adobo sauce, ground
  • 1 potato, cut into 3x3 cubes
  • 4 chicken drumsticks, and skinless thigh (joined or separated)
  • 2 leaves bay
  • 2 cups water

  • In a pot over medium heat, sauté the chorizo to release the fat and fry it completely.
  • Add the chicken and brown well using the same fat released by the chorizo, once it is fried, remove the excess fat.
  • Incorporate the chipotle pepper and let it brown a little.
  • Pour in the water, potatoes, bay leaf, and Knorr® Tomato Seasoning, let it cook until the potatoes are tender.
