Milanesa Crepes in Casserole

  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 box Tres Estrellas® rice flour
  • 600 milliliters cow's milk
  • 15 slices Manchego cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream, for the sauce
  • 1 package cream cheese, 190 g, for the sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chipotle chile, for the sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup Manchego cheese, for gratin
  • parsley, for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  • Mix the egg with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Dip the chicken milanesa in the egg mixture, remove the excess, and coat with Tres Estrellas® rice flour; repeat to have a thicker coating.
  • Heat oil over medium heat and fry the milanesas until golden. Drain on paper towels and cut into strips with a knife.
  • For the crepes, mix Tres Estrellas® crepe flour with milk, pour a ladle into a pre-greased skillet, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Place a slice of cheese in each crepe, add the chicken strips, and roll up. Set aside.
  • For the sauce, blend the cream with the cheese, chipotle pepper, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the crepes in a casserole dish, pour the chipotle sauce, place slices of manchego cheese, and repeat to form layers.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is gratinated.
  • Serve and garnish with parsley, accompanied by a salad.
