Chicken in Hoja Santa Sauce

Delicious recipe that is very traditional in my state (Tabasco). The hoja santa adds a unique flavor to the chicken.

  • 12 morita chiles
  • 1/2 onions
  • 2 garlic
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • water, necessary amount
  • 6 leaves hoja santa
  • 1 cup chicken broth , where the chicken was cooked
  • salt , to taste
  • 500 grams Tyson® chicken breast fillet

  • Fry the chiles, onion, garlic, and tomatoes in a pot with plenty of oil.
  • Blend with a little water and season in a saucepan with oil.
  • Add the hoja santa, broth, and salt; cook for 10 minutes. Incorporate the chicken and keep on the heat for about 10 minutes.
