Chicken Pie

A delicious chicken pie that you will love. You can prepare this pie a day in advance and enjoy it the next day.

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 onion
  • 400 Manchego cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 milliliters whipping cream
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • olive oil , to taste
  • bread crumbs, to taste

  • Heat a little oil, chop the onion very finely or grate it with a coarse grater.
  • When the oil is ready, sauté the onion until it is slightly golden, remove and drain the excess oil and set aside.
  • Grease a baking mold and cover it with breadcrumbs (removing the excess).
  • Prepare the meat by removing skin, bones, and other parts, and chop it very finely.
  • Beat the eggs, season with salt and pepper, and add the heavy cream, mix again.
  • Add the sautéed onion, chopped meat, and diced cheese to the previous mixture and mix everything well, achieving a homogeneous mixture.
  • Preheat the oven to 180º.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared mold and bake at 180º until the egg is well set.
