Chicken Pie with Vegetables

  • For the crust: Place the flour, butter, and salt in a food processor and mix with pulses.
  • When it has a sandy appearance, pour the mixture into a bowl and add the teaspoon of water; compact the dough.
  • Divide the dough into two, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • For the filling: Cut the onion, carrot, and chicken breast into cubes.
  • Place the cubed onion in a pan with a little oil; when it begins to become translucent, add the carrot.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook until completely sealed.
  • Blend part of the can of sweet corn and together with the whole corn kernels, add to the pan. Add the chicken broth, cream cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the broccoli.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • On a floured surface, roll out one part of the refrigerated dough with the help of a rolling pin. Repeat this step with the other part and set aside.
  • Place over the mold and trim the excess.
  • Place the filling over the dough.
  • Place the other part of the reserved dough, previously rolled out, over the filling and trim the excess.
  • Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
