Chicken Rolls with Mushrooms

This recipe is very simple to prepare, delicious, and ideal for surprising the family with a new dish. Try different combinations of ingredients and test various sauces to soak the chicken.

  • 1 kilo chicken breast , boneless
  • 100 grams bacon
  • 1/2 sour cream
  • 210 grams tomato purée
  • 2 chipotle chiles
  • 200 button mushrooms
  • 150 grams deli ham
  • salt , and pepper to taste
  • cherry tomatoes

  • Slice the chicken breast into thin pieces.
  • Cut the ham into thin strips.
  • Place the ham in the center of the chicken, and form a roll. Wrap with strips of bacon.
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C for 10 minutes.
  • Blend the cream with the tomato puree and the chipotle pepper. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the chicken rolls in an oven-safe dish. Top with a layer of mushrooms and some cherry tomatoes.
  • Soak the rolls with the prepared mixture.
  • Bake for approximately 45 minutes at 200°C. This will depend on your oven, check constantly to ensure the chicken and sauce do not dry out.
