Salt-Baked Chicken

Prepare this delicious and super easy salt-baked chicken for any occasion. It's perfect for a dinner with many guests, it's practical, and it won't take you much time to make. Don't worry, it won't be salty, but very tender and juicy.

1 chicken

1 head garlic
aromatic herbs, fresh (oregano, thyme, marjoram, bay leaf, etc.)
1 lemon , in slices

Wash the chicken under running water. Dry it with a clean cloth.
Place a head of garlic, lemon slices, and fresh herbs inside the chicken. Season with pepper and paprika on the outside.
Tie the chicken with twine to keep the pieces together.
Pour coarse sea salt into the bottom of the baking tray. Place the chicken on top and cover it completely with coarse salt.
Bake at 180°C for 1 hour or until a slightly golden salt crust has formed.
Remove from the oven after the time has passed, carefully using a knife to take off the layer of salt along with the skin of the chicken.
