Pasta with Chicken

This pasta with chicken is a complete meal that is very easy to make and an ideal lunch to take to work. This pasta with chicken recipe includes all food groups, is a balanced meal, and you can prepare it to store and have ready-to-eat food for several days.

  • water, hot to cook the pasta
  • salt, to cook the pasta
  • 3 cups fusilli pasta, you can also use whole wheat pasta
  • Italian dressing, for grilling
  • 2 cups pumpkin, in halves
  • 1 cup yellow bell pepper, in squares
  • 500 grams chicken breast
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups cherry tomato, cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
  • salt

  • In a pot with hot water, add enough salt and the pasta; cook for 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Brush the zucchini with Italian dressing, salt, and pepper; grill for 5 minutes. Do the same with the yellow peppers.
  • Brush the chicken with Italian dressing, season with salt and pepper; grill for 15 minutes. Slice and set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter, sauté the garlic, cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, yellow peppers, oregano for 5 minutes; season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the pasta in a to-go container and add the chicken slices.
