Grilled Chicken Sinaloa Style

Here I share a classic recipe from my land, Sinaloa. It’s classic for afternoons with friends, accompanied by a refreshing drink.

  • 1 kilo chicken
  • 4 guajillo chiles
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 2 tablespoons thyme
  • 3 garlics
  • 1 glass orange juice
  • 2 bay
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
Preparation

  • Blend all the ingredients (except the chicken).
  • Marinate the chicken with the previous preparation for 2 hours or overnight.
  • Light the charcoal; once the coals are white, grill the chicken.
  • Cook for 10 minutes on each side.
