Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180°C) and flatten the chicken breasts.
Tip for flattening the breasts: Place in a plastic bag (the zipper type for freezing) and hit with a frying pan or rolling pin until flat.
Stuff the chicken breasts with two slices of cheese, then 2 slices of ham, and finally 2 slices of cheese and roll up. Use a toothpick if necessary to hold the shape.
Mix the breadcrumbs with thyme, finely chopped garlic, melted butter, and salt and pepper.
Beat the eggs. Also season the flour with salt and pepper.
Dredge the chicken rolls first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
Place in the oven until the chicken breasts are cooked, about 20 minutes.
Alternatively, before placing the chicken breasts in the oven, you can fry them in a bit of butter and then finish cooking in the oven for 13-15 minutes.
