Christmas Puff Pastry Roll

The puff pastry recipe and the loin make a very rich combination.

  • 400 grams dried fruit, chopped
  • 4 garlic, chopped
  • 1 white onion , chopped
  • 100 grams nut , chopped
  • 150 grams raisin
  • 4 Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 50 milliliters olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt , to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 kilo puff pastry
  • 1 kilo pork loin , shredded

  • In olive oil, sauté the onion until transparent, then add the garlic and tomato.
  • When the tomato releases its juice, add the dried fruits, raisins, and walnuts.
  • Finally, add the previously cooked and shredded loin.
  • Add salt to taste and let it season well, then allow to cool.
  • On the other hand, roll out the puff pastry to form a roll that will be filled with the cooled loin preparation.
  • Brush with beaten egg and bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 170ºC.
