Coffee Marinated Beef Steak

A beef steak marinated in coffee and spices 8 hours before cooking.

  • 4 beef tenderloins, (120 grams each)
  • 1 cup coffee, freshly brewed americano
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • cooking sprays, for cooking

  • Combine in a large resealable bag the coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic. Place the meat inside, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 8 hours.
  • Prepare the grill.
  • Remove the meat from the bag and discard the marinade. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 2 minutes on each side or longer if you prefer a more well-done steak.
