Glazed Ham with Orange Sweet and Sour Sauce

  • 8 oranges, only the juice
  • 1 cup canned pineapple
  • 1/4 onions, in pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1/3 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cups honey
  • 1 orange, zest
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 smoked ham
  • 20 cloves
  • basil, for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In the T-fal® InfinyForce blender, blend the orange juice with the pineapple, onion, and garlic using the sauce function. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, pour the soy sauce and add the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, ginger, and orange zest. Let it reduce until it reaches a thick consistency.
  • Place the ham on a tray and make diagonal cuts to create diamonds, inserting the cloves.
  • Spread the ham with the orange sweet and sour sauce and bake for 1 hour.
  • Decorate with orange slices and fresh basil.
