Glazed Ribs

Try these delicious glazed ribs with a homemade sauce featuring a touch of Jumex® Único Fresco® orange, soy sauce, honey, and mustard. Your family will love the sweet and sour flavor of this sauce.

  • 2 kilos pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon salt, to season the ribs
  • 1/2 tablespoons pepper, to season the ribs
  • 1 tablespoon raw sugar, to season the ribs
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder, to season the ribs
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder, to season the ribs
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder, to season the ribs
  • 2 tablespoons paprika, to season the ribs
  • 1/2 cups honey, for the rib sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mustard, for the rib sauce
  • 1/4 cups butter, melted, for the rib sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce, for the rib sauce
  • 1 cup Jumex® Unique Fresh Orange, for the rib sauce

  • Mix the salt, pepper, brown sugar, onion powder, cumin, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Place the pork rack on a board, cover the meat with the spice mixture, then place on a baking tray and cover completely with aluminum foil.
  • Bake at 180 °C for 1 hour and a half.
  • Mix the honey, mustard, butter, soy sauce, and Jumex® Único Fresco® orange in a bowl, season with salt and pepper. Place in a pot and cook for 20 minutes over medium heat or until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove the rack of ribs from the oven and brush with the previously mixed sauce. Return to the oven uncovered and bake at 180 °C for 30 minutes or until golden.
  • Serve on a board and accompany with yellow corn and baked potato.
