Golden balls (meat and potato croquettes)

This is a delicious recipe that, in addition to being super nutritious and yielding, is economical and loved by children!!!

  • 3/4 kilos ground beef
  • 3 potatoes, large
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 package breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cups oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

  • Cook the potatoes with the skin until soft enough for mashing. Once cooked, peel and mash.
  • Mix ground meat, egg, salt, pepper, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  • Add the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  • Form small balls or croquettes and coat them in breadcrumbs.
  • Fry over medium heat in hot oil for 3 minutes on each side, remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve with salad.
