Hawaiian Skewers with Turkey Ham

  • 1/2 cups ketchup, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce, reduced sodium, for the sauce
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups honey, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups lime juice, seedless, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, for the sauce
  • 2 packages Zwan® virginia turkey ham, 400 g
  • 2 cups pineapple, in cubes
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, in large cubes, to accompany
  • 1 cup pumpkin, in slices, to accompany
  • 1 cup carrot, in slices, to accompany
  • 1 cup green onion, in half, to accompany
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for the vegetables
  • salt, to accompany
  • pepper, to accompany

  • For the sauce, mix ketchup with soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, lemon juice, garlic powder, mustard, and paprika until fully combined. Set aside until use.
  • Fold the slices of Zwan® Turkey Virginia Ham so that you have a small square of 4x4 cm. Repeat until you finish the package.
  • On a skewer, insert 3 pieces of Zwan® Turkey Virginia Ham in square shape, then place a cube of pineapple, and repeat until the skewer is filled. Place the skewers on a hot grill pan and brush with the sauce. Cook the skewer, turning to brown all sides, and constantly baste with the sauce.
  • On the same hot pan, grill the red bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, and green onion, pour a little olive oil, and season with salt and pepper; cook for 8 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Serve the skewers alongside the grilled vegetables.
