Honey and Lemon Roast Chicken

A simple recipe but with a delicious flavor, this honey and lemon roast chicken is a favorite of everyone, dare to prepare it and enjoy its great taste.

  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 lemons
  • 4 tablespoons honey

  • We start by preheating the oven to 180ºC. We season the chicken with salt and pepper and place the thyme sprigs and garlic in the same tray. We smash the garlic cloves slightly and leave them in their skins. We drizzle oil on top and place the chicken in the oven for 60 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, we squeeze one and a half lemons, and slice the other half into thin rounds for garnish. In a saucepan, we heat the honey and the lemon juice, mix well, and brush the chicken with this mixture every 15 minutes.
  • Once the time is up, strain the sauce that remains in the tray and serve the chicken hot, with sauce on top and a few lemon slices for garnish.
