This is the classic recipe for Italian meatballs that contain 3 different types of meat. Pair these delights with a rich tomato sauce that can be served with pasta, making it a complete and delicious dish.
In a food processor, process the white bread until it becomes bread crumbs and mix with the milk.
In a large bowl, add and mix the bread crumbs, ground meat, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, onion, garlic, and egg. Mix well with your hands and season with pepper to taste.
With your hands, form 18 meatballs, about the size of golf balls.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Cook the meatballs for about 6-8 minutes and remove from the oil.
Return the meatballs to the pan and pour the marinara sauce over them. Allow the sauce to boil, then lower the heat and let the meatballs cook for an additional 15 minutes.
