Kentucky Chicken

If you don't want to leave your house but still want a restaurant-style meal, try this Kentucky chicken recipe; kids love it.

  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 kilos chicken, cut into eighths
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Wash the chicken pieces. Mix flour and salt in a bowl, add lightly beaten eggs, milk, and melted butter.
  • Stir until you achieve a smooth and homogeneous batter.
  • Coat each piece of chicken in the batter.
  • Fry a few pieces at a time to ensure they brown nicely, adjusting the heat so they cook through and brown on the outside.
  • Drain on an absorbent paper towel and keep in a warm oven until serving.
