Meatball Skewers with Yoplait Greek Natural Sauce

  • 3/4 kilos ground lamb
  • 3/4 kilos ground duck meat
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 10 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/8 teaspoons saffron
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 tablespoons sumac
  • 1/2 cups Yoplait® Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoons piquín chile powder

  • Preheat a grill.
  • In a deep bowl, mix the onion, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, eggs, and lamb and turkey meat. Mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into 40 portions, making balls with each one.
  • Place 4 meatballs on each wooden stick.
  • In a pan over medium heat, cook the saffron for 30 seconds or until it starts to release its aroma.
  • Remove from heat and mash.
  • Mix saffron with olive oil in a small bowl.
  • Place the skewers on the pre-greased grill and cook for 10 minutes, 5 on each side.
  • Remove and place on a platter.
  • Cover the cooked skewers with the mixture of oil and saffron and sprinkle with sumac.
  • In a deep bowl, mix Yoplait Greek Natural, cilantro, lemon juice, honey, and chili. Serve with the skewers.
