Meat Roll

This is a simple recipe that your whole family will love; it is a delicious meat roll filled with hard-boiled eggs, served with a tasty sauce. It is a good and different option for preparing ground meat and delighting everyone.

  • 3 eggs, hard
  • 4 tablespoons green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 sprig celery, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 6 slices bacon, finely chopped
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 500 grams ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cups cow's milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Boil three eggs in a pot of water for 10 minutes. Let cool and peel.
  • Finely chop the bell peppers, onion, celery, carrot, and bacon. Place in a bowl and stir well with a spoon.
  • Add the two ground meats, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, milk, and two raw eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything very well with your hands and add enough breadcrumbs until you achieve a homogeneous consistency.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter. Shape the meat into a long cylinder and place the three hard-boiled eggs in the center so they are inside the roll.
  • Bake covered with aluminum foil for 60 minutes until firm to the touch. You can leave it uncovered for an additional 10 minutes to brown the surface.
  • Serve as a main dish, either cold or hot. It can be dressed with a white sauce or a spicy tomato sauce.
