Meatloaf with Sweet Potato Puree

This turkey meatloaf is a great option for Thanksgiving. Juicy meat with a mix of sauces and served with sweet potato puree.

  • 800 grams ground meat, of turkey
  • 3/4 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cups Great Value® milk
  • 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Great Value® plain salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Great Value® mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mix the meat, breadcrumbs, milk, cheese, onion, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the mixture in a loaf pan and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and drain excess liquids. Set aside.
  • Mix the ketchup, sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce and brush the meatloaf with this mixture.
  • Return to the oven and cook for about 30 more minutes or until the meat is cooked through. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • For the puree, boil the sweet potato in salted water for about 15 minutes or until very soft.
  • Pass the sweet potato through a fine sieve to obtain a smooth puree. If necessary, pass it twice.
  • In a deep skillet, melt the butter and add the puree, gradually hydrating it with milk while mixing.
  • Season the puree with salt and nutmeg and serve alongside the meatloaf. Buy HERE
