In a saucepan, sauté the tomato, onion, and garlic previously chopped.
Add the ground meat and while stirring, add salt and black pepper to taste and water to cover the meat. Let it cook for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, dice the potatoes.
Add the potatoes, the pimento peppers, cloves, and bay leaf to the saucepan, stir all the ingredients, and let it cook for another 25 minutes or until the potato is soft and the meat is dry.
Serve hot.
