Shrimp Skewers Wrapped in Bacon

If you have some bacon in the fridge, then don’t think twice and prepare these delicious shrimp bacon skewers for a different meal.

  • 10 large shrimp
  • 1 cup cream cheese, spreadable 1 cup cream cheese, spreadable
  • 1 cup Manchego cheese, grated 1 cup Manchego cheese, grated
  • 10 slices smoked bacon

  • 10 skewer sticks, bamboo
  • 2 sprigs cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Clean the shrimp very well: Remove the shells, cut them in half, and rinse them under running water until all the dirt is gone. Set aside.
  • Slide the skewer through the shrimp to assemble the skewers.
  • Mix the cream cheese, manchego cheese, salt, ground black pepper, and a teaspoon of garlic powder in a bowl.
  • Stuff the shrimp with cheese and wrap the entire shrimp with a slice of bacon. Use a skewer to secure the skewer.
  • Cook the shrimp bacon skewers in a skillet or grill for 10 minutes and serve with fresh cilantro.
