  • 2 cups pork rinds, cut into pieces
  • 3 serrano chile
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tomatillo, without skin
  • 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 sprig fresh cilantro, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, large, sliced
  • 1/2 tablespoons cumin, ground
  • 1 cup nopal, cooked and chopped

  • For the sauce, blend the chiles, garlic, tomato, cilantro, salt, pepper, and water. Set aside.
  • In a pot over medium heat, heat the oil and sauté the onion, add the tomato sauce and incorporate cumin. Cook for 10 minutes and season.
  • Add the nopales and the chicharrón, cover the pot, and cook for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
