Cheese with Chorizo

Try this delicious cheese with chorizo snack, it's perfect to start a tasty meal; you can serve it with tortillas or tortilla chips on the side.

  • 60 grams chorizo, fried and crumbled
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Sauté the chorizo in pieces in a skillet with butter and set aside.
  • Lightly grease a baking dish, add the cheese and half of the chorizo. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it over low heat until the cheese starts to melt (about 3 minutes). Uncover and cook for another 2 minutes or until the cheese completely melts. Place the remaining chorizo on top of the cheese.
  • Serve hot accompanied by flour tortillas so everyone can make their own tacos. It can also be served with a Mexican hot sauce.
