Boil the chopped nopales with garlic and a little water; when they are fully cooked, drain and set aside.
Finely chop the onion, tomato, and serrano peppers and set aside.
Fry the chorizo in pieces of your choice size; when it is well browned and without removing the fat it releases, add the cooked and drained nopales, cover the pot, and let it cook for 5 minutes so the flavors blend.
Add the onion, tomato, serrano pepper, and salt.
Stir and cover again over medium heat, let it cook for 5 more minutes and it's ready.
