Hot Dogs with Vegetables

For a very fresh taste in a classic hot dog, prepare these with cucumber, jalapeño, cilantro, and carrot. Very delicious.

  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 4 sausages, for hot dog
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 6 serrano chiles, toreados
  • 1 carrot, in thin sticks
  • 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cucumbers, cut into thin strips
  • 2 Jalapeño chiles, fresh, sliced thin
  • fresh cilantro, only the leaves

  • Mix vinegar and sugar in the same bowl until dissolved.
  • Add the carrots and salt. Stir and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare the hot dogs, first the bun, spread mayonnaise to taste, then add the sausage.
  • Finally, cover the sausage with carrot, cucumber, jalapeño, and cilantro.
