Glazed Leg with Maple and Apple

  • 1 pork leg ham, 2.5 kg
  • 1/4 cups orange juice, for the glaze
  • 1/4 cups maple syrup, for the glaze
  • 1/4 cups soy, for the glaze
  • 1 cup sugar, for the glaze
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, for the glaze
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon, for the glaze
  • 2 Golden Delicious apples, finely chopped, for the glaze
  • 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped, for the glaze
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 sprig rosemary

  • Preheat the oven to 190 °C.
  • Make triangular incisions on the Fud® Holiday Leg, place it on a baking sheet and set aside.
  • For the glaze, in a small pot over medium heat, cook the orange juice, maple syrup, soy sauce, ginger, cinnamon, apple, and walnuts until it reaches a semi-thick consistency. Let it cool and set aside.
  • Cover the leg with the glaze, place the apple slices and fresh rosemary, bake for 30 minutes, or until the sugar caramelizes.
  • Cut a slice of the leg and serve with cream mushrooms.
