Pork Belly Burger

You have never tasted a burger as spectacular as this one, made with delicious, juicy pork meat covered with a crust of the new and spectacular Barbecue Sauce with chipotle and spices, you will find it impossible to resist. The pork belly meat has a layer of fat that adds a lot of juiciness and flavor to your burger, making it a new way to prepare your burger and try new flavors.

  • 2 kilos pork belly
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, for the pork belly
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped, for the pork belly
  • 1 tablespoon chile flakes, for the pork belly
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder, for the pork belly
  • salt, for the pork belly
  • pepper, for the pork belly
  • 1 bottle San Marcos® chipotle barbecue sauce, for the pork belly (350 g)
  • 1 cup red cabbage, finely chopped, for the salad
  • 1 cup carrot, for the salad
  • 1/2 cups sour cream, for the salad
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise, for the salad

Low
  • In a bowl mix the barbecue sauce with chipotle San Marcos®, add garlic powder, ginger, chili flakes, ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  • Place the pork belly in a baking dish and using a brush, spread the sauce until the meat is completely covered, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 90 minutes at 190 °C.
  • Remove the aluminum foil and bake for 30 more minutes at 190 °C. Let the meat rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
  • On a cutting board, slice the pork belly and set aside.
  • For the salad, in a bowl mix the red cabbage with the carrot, sour cream, and mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
  • On a slice of hamburger bread, spread the Prepared Mustard with chipotle San Marcos®, place the slices of pork belly, add the coleslaw, and top with the hamburger bread. Serve with wedge potatoes and yellow corn.
