Pork Chop in Sweet and Sour Sauce

  • 500 grams pork chops
  • 1/2 cups white wine
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 cup meat broth
  • 25 grams cornstarch, soaked
  • 50 grams lard
  • salt , to taste

  • First, we season the chops with salt and let them marinate with the soy sauce for 1 hour.
  • In a pan, we melt the lard, and when it's hot, we fry the chops on both sides, then remove them. Set aside.
  • For the sweet and sour sauce: We use the same pan, just remove a little bit of lard and add the broth, vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar, stirring well. Let it cook for 10 minutes on low heat.
  • Then we increase the heat, add and mix the cornstarch and wine until it boils, then remove the pan from the heat.
