Christmas Pork Loin Stuffed with Apples and Spices

  • Melt the butter in a skillet, add the apple, onion, celery, and walnut. Cook until the ingredients have softened.
  • Add the apple puree, then incorporate the water and the bread pieces.
  • When the bread has absorbed the juices, season with the spices (cinnamon, salt, clove, nutmeg, and ginger).
  • Open the loin and evenly place the filling along it. Roll it up and tie it with string so it doesn’t come apart.
  • Sear the loin in a pot with hot oil.
  • Place the meat in a baking dish, cover it with aluminum foil, and bake for 45 minutes at 180°C.
