Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Pork Loin

Treat the family to this exquisite pork loin, wrapped in bacon, and glazed with apricot jam. It is very juicy and an excellent option to prepare for any gathering, a very easy and rewarding recipe.

  • 3 tablespoons raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 pork loin, Approximately 2 kg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup apricot jam
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoons oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 grams bacon

  • Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  • Mix the sugar with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Spread the pork loin with the previous mixture.
  • Heat the oil over high heat and sear the loin on all sides. Set aside.
  • Mix the jam with soy sauce, marjoram, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • On a wooden board, lay out the strips of bacon and place the pork loin, wrapping the loin.
  • Place on a baking sheet and, using a brush, coat with the jam. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
