Mandarin Pork

This delicious Mandarin pork is a perfect dish to serve at Christmas or any other important event where you want to showcase your cooking skills.

  • 800 grams pork loin
  • 6 tangerines
  • 10 slices bacon
  • chipotle chiles, to taste, seedless, cut into thin strips
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • allspice berries
  • 1 clove garlic, cut into medium pieces

  • Cut the pork loin into 8 pieces.
  • Wrap the pork loin with bacon and secure it with toothpicks.
  • Juice half of the mandarins and cut the others into wedges.
  • In a pot, heat the oil, brown the meat on both sides, add the mandarin wedges, chipotle, garlic, and pepper. Add the juice, olive oil, and salt to taste.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
