Pork Loin in Mushroom Sauce

  • 1 kilo pork loin
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 250 grams whipping cream
  • 1 can button mushrooms
  • salt , and pepper to taste
  • oil , necessary amount

  • In a medium skillet with a little oil, add finely chopped onions and garlic, and sauté.
  • Add the cream, drained mushrooms, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook over low heat until the mushrooms are tender. Set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 175°C.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, fry the pork loin until it browns slightly, turning the piece of meat to brown all sides.
  • In a baking dish, cover the meat with the sauce. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the oven. Cook the loin for about one hour, briefly removing it from the oven every 20 minutes to baste the piece of meat with the sauce (using a large metal spoon), then cover it again and return it to the oven.
  • Once well cooked, remove from the oven and serve.
