This Christmas, prepare this recipe for your family: pork loin in orange sauce. The touch of orange flavor in this recipe is the best you've ever tasted.
Heat some oil in a pan and brown the loin, then dry it and place it on a platter. In the same pan, lightly brown the onion and chopped garlic, then place the loin back on top.
Juice the oranges, dissolve the mustard, and add white wine, salt, pepper, and thyme.
Add the loin and cover. Cook on low heat until the loin is tender and the onion is almost falling apart (approximately 1 hour). Turn off the heat and let cool.
Remove the loin and slice it. Strain the sauce, pressing down; if it's too thin, thicken it with a teaspoon of cornstarch and pour it over the meat.
