Oven-Baked Ribs in BBQ Sauce

This recipe for oven-baked ribs in BBQ sauce is perfect to serve as an appetizer or main dish.

  • 1 pork ribs
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tub extra special bbq sauce

  • Preheat the oven to 160°C
  • Season the rack of ribs with salt and pepper on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Brush with olive oil and cover with another sheet of aluminum foil, making sure it is sealed tightly.
  • Place in the oven for 1.5 hours or until the meat is pulling away from the bone; remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Open the aluminum pouch and brush with extra special BBQ sauce on both sides without overdoing it.
  • Put it back in the oven at 200°C for fifteen minutes. Flip it over and leave it for another fifteen minutes or until the fat of the meat is browned.
