Poblano BBQ Ribs with Hunt's

Homemade Poblano recipe, bathed in our traditional Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce. BBQ ribs are a classic in Poblano cuisine; try this delicious dish and we know you won't be able to eat just one.

  • 1 kilo pork ribs
  • 1/2 liters apple juice
  • 5 árbol chiles 5 árbol chiles

  • 50 grams caramel, liquid
  • 300 grams Hunt´S ® original bbq sauce
  • 3 leaves bay

  • Cook the pork ribs in water for 25 minutes, preferably in a pressure cooker, adding ¼ onion, 3 bay leaves, and salt to taste.
  • Soak the árbol chiles in a little apple juice.
  • Place the cooked meat in a saucepan and pour in 300 grams of Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce; let it marinate for 5 minutes.
  • Blend the previously soaked árbol chiles, adding ½ liter of apple juice, one garlic clove, ¼ onion, and salt to taste.
  • Place the saucepan with the marinated meat over low heat. Strain and pour the contents of the blender.
  • While the ribs are simmering, gradually add the liquid caramel to caramelize the ribs for 25 minutes.
