Ribs with Chocolate

Enjoy an exquisite and original main dish. All the flavor of the ribs with a touch of chocolate, a combination that sounds extravagant but is undoubtedly a delight.

  • 1 kilo meat, (rack)
  • 250 grams mirasol chili pepper, red or chilaca
  • 2 tablets chocolate, of grinder
  • 1/4 onions, medium
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • salt , to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 liters broth
  • 2 red tomatoes, medium

  • Boil the meat in one and a half liters of water with salt.
  • In a pan, place a spoonful of oil, add the onion and garlic, and sauté. Then add the two tomatoes cut in half, and once they are halfway cooked and sautéed, add the 2 chocolate tablets, and as soon as they start to melt, turn off the heat.
  • In the blender, place the previously warmed broth, add the cooked red chili and everything you cooked in the pan. Season with 1/2 tablespoon of salt or to taste.
  • In another pan, fry the meat for 5 minutes and then add the drained chili until it boils for approximately 5 minutes.
