Pork Loin with Ketchup

Delicious and easy recipe for pork loin with ketchup to cook this Christmas.

  • 1 kilo pork loin
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 onions, large
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon granulated chicken bouillon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cups sour cream

  • Blend the onion, garlic, chicken broth, and salt in a blender.
  • Heat the butter in a pot, once melted, sear the pork loin until well browned on all sides. When well browned, add the previous mixture, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Place the pork loin on a baking sheet, add the remaining broth and powdered consommé, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 90 minutes at 180ºC.
  • After this time, mix the ketchup with the cream and add it to the pork loin. Let cook for 30 minutes or until the pork loin is tender.
  • Let rest, slice, and drizzle with the same sauce.
