  • Melt the butter in a pot and add Smucker’s® orange jam, orange juice, red wine, and cook for 5 minutes, then let it cool.
  • Place the turkey in a slightly deep baking tray and inject starting from the legs using a syringe, then the wings, and finally the breast. Inject at three points on each of the breasts and let it rest for 1 hour. Inject again in the same way and let it rest for another hour.
  • Mix Smucker’s® orange jam with the melted butter in a bowl and brush the entire turkey with the mixture using a brush. Place the oranges and thyme inside the turkey to make it juicier, then cover the wings with aluminum foil to prevent them from burning, and bake for 3 to 4 hours at 180 °C. To know if the turkey is ready, pierce one of the legs down to the bone with a knife; when no blood comes out and only clear liquid flows, it’s time to take it out of the oven.
  • Serve the red wine turkey with orange on a platter and garnish with orange slices and fresh rosemary.
