Easy Chipotle Sausages

  • 3 cups turkey sausage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cups onion, chopped into feathers
  • 1 cup tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups chipotle chile, ground
  • 1 cup tomato purée
  • 1/3 cups chicken broth
  • salt
  • 1/4 cups cilantro leaves, for decoration
  • 1 avocado, into slices
  • 1 cup rice, for accompaniment

  • Cut the sausages diagonally and set aside.
  • Pour the oil into a skillet over medium heat, then add the onion and cook until transparent, then add the sausages and cook until slightly browned, and add the tomato, cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
  • Incorporate the chipotle pepper, tomato puree, chicken broth, and season with salt, mix well. Cook until the sauce boils and thickens a bit.
  • Serve the chipotle sausages on a flat plate, decorate with cilantro leaves, avocado slices, and accompany with rice.
