Shredded Beef in Guajillo

Slightly spicy shredded beef, accompanied by potatoes. A delicious and homemade stew that no one can resist. It is also easy to prepare and has an unmatched flavor.

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 onions
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into quarters
  • 3 guajillo chiles, seedless
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 500 grams skirt steak, cooked and shredded
  • 2 potatoes, cut into cubes
  • salt and pepper

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the garlic, onion, tomatoes, and chiles.
  • Blend the above with the beef broth.
  • Return to heat for 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper; add the potatoes.
  • Add the meat and let it cook for 10 more minutes or until it thickens slightly.
