Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and prepare a baking tray with aluminum foil.
Prepare the wings by cutting off the tip where they join to have two smaller pieces.
In a deep bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Coat the wings in the flour and place them on a plate.
In a large pot, heat 4-5 cups of oil to 180 degrees Celsius. When the oil is hot, dip the wings back into the flour mixture and place them in the oil to fry for 10-15 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown.
While the wings are frying, mix in a deep bowl the hot sauce, honey, and brown sugar.
Remove the wings from the oil, dry with paper towels, and dip in the spicy mixture. Place them on the baking tray and bake for 12 minutes.
